Meet Crystal! One of our new and fabulous front desk coordinators!

 1. Where are you from?
I grew up in Nebraska. I have lived in Texas the last 19 years.

2. Tell us about your family?
My husband, Craig and I have been married for 23 years. We have three amazing children. Our son, Connor is 17 and a senior in high school. Our son, Collin is 12 and in the 7th grade. Our daughter, Carsyn is 9 and in the 4th grade.

3. Where did you attend school?
I graduated from Bellevue University in Bellevue, NE. I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.

4. What do you like to do in your spare time/hobbies?
I love to support my kids in all their activities. Between the 3 they are involved in football, lacrosse, volleyball, dance and guitar. I also enjoying running/working out and going to the movies.

5. Favorite book?
My favorite author is Jodi Picoult. I can’t pick a favorite!

6. Favorite food?

 7. What’s something you are passionate about?
My family and my faith

8. What are some things you are involved in (ie church, community etc)?
I was at home with my kids after my younger son was born. I have enjoyed being very involved and volunteering for many things at their schools and our church over the years.

9. Favorite thing about NDC so far?
It feels like a family, from the staff to the patients! I am so excited to be here and to get to learn more about everyone!

10. What’s something you’d like our patients to know?
As a mom, I understand the frustration of dealing with a chronic health issue as my oldest son has asthma. I am sympathetic to people who are looking for help for themselves or their children for whatever issue they might be dealing with.

halloween2015It’s that time of year again!  Donate your candy to our troops around the world!


We had SO much fun hanging out with the cutest little kids at Suncreek Preschool today!  (Seriously, they are precious!) Dr. Harrison played a game of ‘Simon Says’ and talked about how all parts of their bodies function because of their nervous system!  Each kiddo got a “nerve” (pipe cleaner) to put inside our Mr. Spine so they can see that all those nerves are protected by their spine!  We demonstrated what it’s like to have a subluxation or misalignment of their spine with pool noodles (one lucky kiddo wore the ‘brain’ hat) and how that is expressed in their body, whether it’s sickness, ear infection, constipation, difficulty sleeping or concentrating  etc.  We showed them how gentle an adjustment is and how much fun it is to visit Dr. Harrison to feel all better!

It was such a great time!  Thank you so much for letting us be a part of their learning lives today!

Busy family-owned and operated chiropractic office is looking for the right person to join our team! This is for someone looking for more than just a job–making a difference in people’s lives! A successful candidate is one with a happy, outgoing personality and great organizational skills. Need someone who is VERY reliable, respectful and kind. Our office specializes in caring for families, pregnant women and children. Someone who is passionate about helping others, especially little ones is necessary for our office environment. . .our patients are like family to us! Must also promote and reflect a healthy wellness lifestyle. Will work closely with Office Manager and other Front Office Coordinators. Previous chiropractic experience is not necessary but caring for people is a MUST!

Duties include:
-Greeting new and existing patients in the office and on the phone (responsible for 3 lines). Making them feel very special and welcomed each visit. Good phone and personal etiquette and communication is imperative!
-Using office software to schedule patient appointments and take payments
-Verifying, understanding and explaining insurance benefits (not responsible for billing/coding)
-Light computer tasks: scanning, emailing etc. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer handling is necessary.
-Assisting with patient programs and community outreach
-Assisting doctors when necessary

Office Hours:
Monday: 9 AM to 5 PM
Tuesday: 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Wednesday: 9 AM to 5 PM
Thursday: 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Friday: 9 AM to 5 PM
1st and 3rd Saturdays: 9 AM to 12 PM

This PART TIME job will be 10-20 hours per week. Please specify your availability.

FullSizeRender(1)Around here, we’re pretty excited about some of the changes coming our way and we want to fill you in!  First things first, our hours are changing!  In efforts to better balance our ever-growing patient schedule and important family time, beginning OCTOBER 1st, our hours will now be as follows:

Monday: 9 AM to 6 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM (closed afternoon)
Wednesday: 9 AM to 6 PM
Thursday: Closed
Friday: 9 AM to 5 PM
1st and 3rd Saturdays: 9 AM to 12 PM (closed 2nd and 4th Saturdays)

While we didn’t change things up too much, we hope these hours will better allow you and your family to visit your favorite chiropractor!

Thanks to all who participated in “Where in the World is Dr. H 2015”.  Dr. H went to impressive destinations touring Canada, watching the Wimbledon in London and catching rays in Hawaii and Mexico.  He also managed to crash a wedding and some family road trips!  We’re sad to see summer go, but look forward to tagging along with you next year!
